Longmont, CO- Nature Walk at St. Vrain State Park

Event Date: Saturday May 18, 2024
Event Time: 10:00am (please arrive 10-15 min early)
Event Address: St. Vrain State Park
3785 Weld County Road #24.5, Longmont, CO 80504

About the Event: Join us for an educational nature walk at St. Vrain State Park in Longmont. We’ll stroll around the park’s largest ponds with an amazing view of Longs Peak and the front range. Special treat: we’ll have our very own guide to tell us about the local flora and fauna, as well as safety around wild animals. Total walking distance will be four miles on flat, paved roads.

Meet at the parking lot near Blue Heron Reservoir. Because this is a state park, parking is free with a Keep Colorado Wild pass or $10 per car without.

In addition to our nature walk, we’ll gather as a group to discuss life and cancer survivorship. Light refreshment will be provided.

  • Though we love furry friends, this will be a people-only event (age 18+).
  • If you are attending with a caregiver or other survivor, please fill out a separate registration for each person.
  • If you or anyone in your household is feeling ill prior to the event, please inform us and do not attend to ensure the best health of our community.
