Covid-19 Camp Update for 2020 Season
At Epic Experience, our number one priority is ensuring the safety of all of our participants. As a result, we have made the tough decision to cancel all of our summer camp programs. We will be back to create memories with each of you in person as soon as it is deemed safe for us to come together in a group setting.
More than ever we need community. In the near future, Epic Experience will be launching weekly virtual camps. We will be sending out a document to all applicants to find out who is interested in participating. Stay tuned for more information on these virtual camp programs.
Also, please follow us on Facebook and check out our events page for other programs that are focused on empowering the adult cancer community during COVID-19. Together we will continue to live beyond cancer.

Epic Experience Virtual Camps!
Epic Experience's mission is to empower cancer thrivers and survivors to live beyond cancer. We are used to doing this in person at our flagship weeklong camp programs, but during these COVID-19 times that is not possible. Epic Experience will be hosting virtual four-day camp programs in which we connect 10 cancer thrivers and survivors using live streaming (a.k.a. Zoom). These camps will be disease specific and will take place from Monday to Thursday. Each day will include a writing workshop, daily challenge, and live virtual campfire from 3:30 p.m. MST to 5 p.m. MST.
We want to grow connections and community through sharing our stories and perspectives. To this end, we ask that once you commit to one of these camp programs, you attend all four sessions. If you miss a session, you will be removed from the week’s camp programming.
Below you will find a link to an online form. If you are interested in attending one of these virtual camps, you MUST fill out the following form.
Normal Camp Application
Epic Experience provides free week long adventure camps for adult cancer survivors and thrivers. Epic Experience accepts all applicants 18+ no matter where they are in their cancer journey - whether it be in treatment or out of treatment for many years.
Epic Experience hosts their weeklong adventure camps in the great state of Colorado about three hours west of Denver. The camps are open to the adult cancer community around the United States and Canada.
Epic Experience camps are both in the winter and summer months. The winter camps you will be cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and sledding. In the summer months you will be doing activities such as white water rafting, inflatable kayaking, and hiking. **Please note that due to high demand of applicants we do not offer choice of what program you can attend**
We look forward to supporting you live beyond cancer!
