Such an amazing day zip-lining, climbing through the trees, and hanging out with friends old and new! As a cancer survivor, former camper, and now volunteer with Epic Experience, I know firsthand how incredibly life-changing this community is and how lucky I am to be part of the Epic Experience family. The best part of the day was watching how one day of hanging out and connecting with other survivors and thrivers can truly transform lives. Some of our participants had just completed cancer treatment. Watching those survivors challenge themselves on the adventure course and then realize what they are capable of beyond cancer was so inspiring. Other participants are in active treatment, so today was an incredible reminder for them of how strong and resilient they are.
Epic Experience helped me live beyond my cancer. Now I volunteer with Epic Experience to help other survivors and thrivers live beyond cancer, too.
