About the Event: Join Epic Experience for an unforgettable day on the Snowshoe Hare Trail in beautiful Black Hawk, Colorado! This snowshoe hike is designed to bring together survivors, thrivers, and caregivers in the cancer community, for a day of adventure, camaraderie, and connection in the great outdoors.

Nestled in the serene winter landscape of Colorado’s high country, the Snowshoe Hare Trail offers a moderate trek through snow-dusted pines and stunning mountain vistas. Whether you’re a seasoned snowshoer or a first-timer, this event promises a rewarding experience for all skill levels. Please note that this snowshoe trek is located in Golden Gate State Park, you will be required to cover your vehicles own entry fee (new program has it as part of your car registration if you opted into that program).

What to Expect:

  • A guided group snowshoe hike along the scenic trail
  • Opportunities to connect with fellow participants and share stories
  • Warm drinks and light refreshments post-hike
Gear: 
  • Snowshoes will be provided if you do not have your own gear you would prefer.
  • Please bring your own water for the trek
  • Proper winter layered clothing to ensure you can adjust as your body temperature rises during the experience.
  • This event is for adults only (age 18+).
  • If you are attending with a caregiver or other survivor, please fill out a separate registration for each person.
  • If you or anyone in your household is feeling ill prior to the event, please inform us and do not attend to ensure the best health of our community
